\n\n\nAbout the Role
\nWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Temporary Works Installer to join a project at the Warburtons site in Burnley. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe installation, alteration, inspection, and dismantling of temporary works systems in accordance with project specifications and site safety requirements.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious individual with previous temporary works experience to join a growing team.
\nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Installation and dismantling of temporary works systems. \n
- Erecting and adjusting edge protection, handrails, barriers, screens, access systems, and associated temporary structures. \n
- Working safely at height and ensuring all work complies with current health and safety legislation. \n
- Reading and interpreting installation drawings and site instructions. \n
- Conducting pre-use inspections and reporting defects. \n
- Working closely with site management and other trades to ensure work is completed to programme. \n
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards and a safe working environment. \n
Requirements
\nEssential
\n- \n
- Valid CSCS Card. \n
- Previous experience as a Temporary Works Installer or in a similar construction-based role. \n
- Good understanding of construction site health and safety procedures. \n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. \n
- Reliable transport to Burnley. \n
Desirable
\n- \n
- IPAF 3a/3b. \n
- PASMA. \n
- Working at Height certification. \n
- Harness Inspection/User Training. \n
- Banksman / Vehicle Marshal qualification. \n
- Temporary Works Awareness Training. \n
- SSSTS (for supervisory candidates). \n
- First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid. \n
