Chef de Partie - Luxury Care HomeLocation: Ipswich, SuffolkSalary: £15.50 per hour (£32,240 per year)Hours: 40 hours per weekContract: Full-time, permanent We are looking to recruit an experienced Chef de Partie for a full-time, permanent position within a luxury care home based in Ipswich. The successful candidate will join a professional and supportive catering team, helping to maintain the home's exceptionally high standards. You will assist with preparing and presenting fresh, nutritious and high-quality meals while ensuring residents' individual dietary requirements are always met. Key Responsibilities\n

- Prepare and cook fresh, high-quality meals. \n
- Support the Head Chef and wider kitchen team. \n
- Maintain excellent standards of food preparation and presentation. \n
- Cater for residents' dietary requirements, allergies and food intolerances. \n
- Prepare modified-texture meals where required. \n
- Follow food hygiene, health and safety, allergen and infection-control procedures. \n
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment. \n
- Assist with stock control and help minimise food waste. \n
- Provide support and guidance to junior kitchen team members. \n
- \n
- A minimum of 12 months' experience working within a professional kitchen. \n
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, Line Chef or in a similar position. \n
- A genuine passion for preparing high-quality food. \n
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety standards. \n
- The ability to work effectively as part of a busy kitchen team. \n
- Excellent attention to detail and food presentation. \n
- A reliable, organised and professional approach. \n
- Care-home or healthcare catering experience would be advantageous but is not essential. \n
- Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check. \n
