The successful candidate will join a professional and supportive catering team, helping to maintain the home's exceptionally high standards. You will assist with preparing and presenting fresh, nutritious and high-quality meals while ensuring residents' individual dietary requirements are always met. Key Responsibilities\n

• Prepare and cook fresh, high-quality meals.
\n
• Support the Head Chef and wider kitchen team.
\n
• Maintain excellent standards of food preparation and presentation.
\n
• Cater for residents' dietary requirements, allergies and food intolerances.
\n
• Prepare modified-texture meals where required.
\n
• Follow food hygiene, health and safety, allergen and infection-control procedures.
\n
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment.
\n
• Assist with stock control and help minimise food waste.
\n
• Provide support and guidance to junior kitchen team members.
\n

Candidate Requirements\n

\n
• A minimum of 12 months' experience working within a professional kitchen.
\n
• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, Line Chef or in a similar position.
\n
• A genuine passion for preparing high-quality food.
\n
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety standards.
\n
• The ability to work effectively as part of a busy kitchen team.
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and food presentation.
\n
• A reliable, organised and professional approach.
\n
• Care-home or healthcare catering experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
\n
• Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check.
\n
