This is an opportunity to work on complex cloud infrastructure, automation, and platform engineering challenges where your work will have a direct impact on the success of a high-profile programme.Unlike many infrastructure roles, this is a genuinely software engineering-focused position. You'll spend your time building automation frameworks, developing internal tooling, creating Infrastructure as Code solutions, and eliminating manual processes through clean, scalable, production-quality code.What You'll Be DoingBuilding automation frameworks and tooling using PythonDeveloping Infrastructure as Code solutions with TerraformCreating reusable templates and code generation platforms using Jinja2Automating Windows environments through PowerShellManaging and improving configuration management with PuppetBuilding CI/CD integrations for infrastructure deliveryWorking closely with cloud, platform and engineering teams to improve automation and operational efficiencyDriving infrastructure standardisation, reliability and scalability across complex environmentsWhat We're Looking ForStrong commercial Python development experienceExperience building automation tools, frameworks or platformsTerraform and Infrastructure as Code experienceExperience with AWS cloud servicesPuppet configuration management experienceCI/CD and DevOps automation experiencePassion for engineering best practices, testing and code qualityExperience working in cloud and hybrid infrastructure environmentsThe Process:The process is lean, friendly, and all hosted via MS Teams.
