Job Description
Our client is a successful construction and refurbishment contractor with a strong commitment to delivering meaningful social value and positive community outcomes. They are looking for a Community Investment Executive to support the delivery, monitoring and reporting of social value commitments across a range of projects. The client are based near Romford but due to the nature of the role, the position will be mostly field/remote, with travel to the office once a week on average. Starting salary will be between £30-50k depending on level of experience. They are looking for someone who can develop with the role and company in the long term.Key Details:\n

- Support the development of social value proposals for tenders and help create project-specific action plans. \n
- Coordinate the delivery of social value initiatives including apprenticeships, work placements, volunteering activities and community engagement events. \n
- Work closely with project teams to embed social value commitments into daily site operations. \n
- Build and maintain relationships with local authorities, housing associations, schools, colleges, job centres and community organisations. \n
- Engage and support subcontractors and supply chain partners in meeting social value targets and obligations. \n
- Monitor, collect and validate project data, ensuring accurate reporting against contractual commitments and KPIs. \n
- Produce regular reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders and clients, ensuring all records remain compliant and audit-ready. \n

- At least 1 years experience in social value, CSR, sustainability, community engagement or a similar position. \n
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and organisational skills. \n
- Experience tracking data and producing reports. \n
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. \n
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites. \n
- Ideally understanding of construction bids or National TOMs framework \n
