Day-to-day of the role:

Customer Service

  • Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via telephone, email, and online channels.

  • Provide accurate information regarding products, pricing, and delivery schedules.
  • \n
  • Resolve customer queries, complaints, and issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • \n
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • \n
  • Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service.

Order Processing

  • Accurately process and input customer orders onto internal systems.
  • \n
  • Verify order details, pricing, and delivery requirements.
  • \n
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly and on time.

  • Monitor order progress and keep customers updated on any delays or changes.

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.

Administration

  • Perform general administrative duties including data entry, filing, and document management.

  • Assist with preparing reports, spreadsheets, and customer documentation.

  • Maintain and update customer records and databases.

  • Provide administrative support to the wider team as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience within customer service, administration, order processing, or a similar role.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • \n
  • Good organisational and time-management abilities.
  • \n
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • \n
  • Experience using CRM or ERP systems would be advantageous but is not essential.
