Warehouse operative (DC)

Job Title: Warehouse PickerJob Type: Temporary - OngoingLocation: Bournemouth, BH11 8PTPay Rate: £12.71 per hour (increasing to £13.08 after successful training - up to 3 weeks training)Overtime: £19.62 per hour (Monday to Saturday) £19.71 after training.Shift timings:

Days: 07:00-15;00, Monday-Friday (2 paid 20-minute tea breaks ) - Fixed shift

* Must be able to reach the site by 7:00AM*

Requirements:

\n
• Previous experience in a similar warehouse role is essential.
\n
• Familiarity with operating LLOP, PPT, or similar mechanical handling equipment.
\n
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to ensure clear and efficient operation.
\n
• Ability to work independently, but also a great team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
\n
• Commitment to working overtime weekly to support targets
\n

Duties:

\n
• Maintaining safety and cleanliness standards across the warehouse
\n
• Accurately picking goods and preparing orders for shipment
\n
• Operating LLOP (Low-Level Order Picker) to gather products efficiently
\n
• Packing orders for ecommerce fulfillment, ensuring each item is correctly handled and packed
\n
• Preparing products for sale, including tagging, labeling, creating gift sets, and preparing customer loads
\n
• Restacking pallets and removing shrink wrap from wrapped pallets to prepare for putaway
\n
• Handling physical tasks, including moving cases weighing up to 13.5 kg and standing for extended periods
\n
• Collaborating effectively with the wider team to ensure a smooth workflow
\n
