\nRole Overview
\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and detail-oriented administrator to join our Gas Installation Department. This office-based role works closely with Surveyors, Supervisors and Installation Engineers to support the delivery of gas installation projects from quotation through to completion.
\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing survey information, preparing quotations, processing materials orders, liaising with internal teams and clients, and ensuring jobs are accurately prepared for delivery. This role requires strong administrative skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nThe role includes, but is not limited to:
\nAppraise and edit property survey reports, ensuring information provided by Survey Engineers is accurate, operationally feasible and fit for purpose through liaison with Surveyors and Supervisors.
\nUpdate job records, identifying material requirements and operative hours to enable jobs to be scheduled correctly and materials procured efficiently.
\nAccurately apply schedule of rate codes covering all aspects of each installation project.
\nGenerate customer quotations using company templates and the appropriate system or boiler configuration.
\nIssue completed quotation letters to clients via email in a timely and professional manner.
\nProcess purchase orders for future installation works and same-day material requirements.
\nManage and respond to incoming emails, including customer and client queries.
\nMaintain accurate records and job information within internal systems.
\nSupport the wider Gas Installation team with administrative and operational tasks as required.
\nUndertake any other reasonable duties requested by management.
\nCarry out ad hoc tasks to support departmental performance, service delivery and customer satisfaction.

\nEssential Skills & Experience
\nPrevious experience within an administrative, scheduling or coordination role.
\nExcellent attention to detail and accuracy.
\nStrong organisational and time management skills.
\nAbility to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
\nGood written and verbal communication skills.
\nCompetent in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
\nAbility to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
\nProfessional and customer-focused approach.
\nDesirable Skills & Experience
\nExperience within the gas, heating, construction or maintenance sectors.
\nExperience producing quotations or processing purchase orders.
\nKnowledge of scheduling systems or job management software.
\nUnderstanding of materials procurement processes.
