Operations Manager - Waste

Experienced Operations Manager required to join an established organisation to manage a team of drivers and internal office staff, delivering smooth planning and delivery of the operations and transport functions. This position will pay between £50,000 - £55,000, working Monday - Friday. Please note there is no hybrid working.Ideally the candidate will have previous waste experience, preferably NEBOSH qualification as well as COTC and Transport Manager CPC .Duties:Oversee maintenance, fleet, drivers and administrative staff effectively managing operations and transportEffectively manage the operations team, whilst supporting with workloads and route planningResponsible for full accident investigationsEnsure QHSE is integrated across all sites to meet regulatory compliance , protect employee well-being, minimise environmental impact, and deliver consistent high- quality servicesBenefits:£50,000 - £55,000 per annum25 days holidayPensionExperience required:Operations Management experienceStrong leadership, business strategy, project planning and negotiation skillsHealth & Safety knowledge and experienceProven ability to successfully manage client relationships and meet expectationsAbility to organise a busy and varied workload, remain calm under pressure, and proactive in approach to tasksPC literate with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skillsPlease bear in mind that you may not hear from us straight away.
