PR Specialist

PR Specialist role in a popular US law firm. London based with 4 days in the office a week. Very competitive salary.

This is a nice role for a junior PR professional looking to grow in their career. The role will join the established PR and comms team of this US law firm, working with a long-standing senior leader in London, who would be great to learn from. The role will have an emphasis on the firm’s transactional practices, and their FS and Private Equity sector work.

Duties will include:

• Acting as a key point of contact for press enquiries; Proactively identifying profile raising opportunities in the press and pitching story ideas; Building relationships with key journalists and maintaining the media contact database; Organising media briefings; Writing press releases and articles; Attending practice meetings and acting as an adviser to lawyers on media opportunities; Managing relationships with PR agencies.

The role will suit a PR Executive / Senior Executive who’s ready for a step up and new challenge, with at least 3 years of experience in a relevant PR role. Experience of legal media and press is essential. And ideally, candidates will have experience of working with transactional practices in a law firm.
