If you answered yes, then we want to hear from you!The Meath Epilepsy Charity, CQC rated 'GOOD' is looking for enthusiastic Support Workers to help support our residents and encourage them to develop and learn life skills, enabling them to live life to the full.We require team players with excellent communication skills who want to deliver a high level of care and support, whilst maintaining safety standards at all times in line with company policies. Previous experience of care work desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.The Role:This role is based in Godalming, Surrey .As a Support Worker, you will deliver person-centred care and support to our residents, in line with their personal care plans.Please note that we are unable to provide visa sponsorships.Key Responsibilities:As a Support Worker, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;To positively contribute to the health & wellbeing of the people we support, including medication administration (training will be provided).To provide a safe environment, in line with safeguarding policies.To support the residents with community integration, including social events and hobbies.To assist with personal care and hygiene where required.To encourage and enhance the people we supports independence to enable them to fulfil their life goalsTo support & encourage the residents to achieve maximum life skills to the best of their abilities.To attend 1:1 supervision meeting for personal development and continuous training with your line manager every six weeks.To follow as instructed any reasonable instruction given by your line manager, manager or senior manager as required.To record brief and accurate notes of resident daily routine / activities via in-house care system device (PCS).To become conversant with and implement Meath policies and proceduresAny other reasonable tasks that may be required.What We Offer:You will be entitled to an excellent benefits package:25 days annual leave full time equivalent (excluding bank holidays)Pay enhancements on Easter Sunday & Christmas DayGenerous pension Scheme employer 7% contribution / employee 5% contributionUK Health policy (cash back policy for optical, dental, therapy treatments & consultations)Free on-Site GymSubsidised onsite café, The HiveGodalming station less than 5 minutes walk away / free car parkingDBS free of chargeExcellent in-house training with opportunity to work towards QCF Level 3 in Health & Social CareInclusivity & Diversity: We recognise that all our colleagues are uniquely different and bring their own originality creativity, and identity to work.
