\nJoin a Growing Property Maintenance Team
\nAre you a skilled Multi Trade Operative looking for a varied role where no two days are the same? We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused professional to carry out responsive repairs, planned maintenance, void property works, and property inspections across a residential housing portfolio.
\nThe Role
\nAs a Multi Trade Operative, you will deliver high-quality repairs and maintenance across your primary trade while supporting a range of secondary trades when required. You will work independently, managing your workload effectively to ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
\nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Carry out day-to-day repairs, maintenance works, void property refurbishments, and property inspections. \n
- Deliver quality workmanship across your specialist trade and support other trades where required. \n
- Use handheld devices (PDA/mobile technology) to manage jobs, update records, and complete documentation in real time. \n
- Order and manage materials efficiently, minimising waste. \n
- Complete repairs on the first visit wherever possible. \n
- Conduct risk assessments and work in line with Health & Safety regulations. \n
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle to the required standards. \n
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional communication with residents and stakeholders. \n
- Attend scheduled appointments and ensure all work is completed to agreed service levels. \n
- Support and supervise apprentices when required. \n
What We're Looking For
\nEssential
\n- \n
- NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds qualification, or equivalent practical experience in a recognised trade. \n
- Strong experience within property maintenance, repairs, or construction environments. \n
- Competence across multiple trades, with a recognised primary trade specialism. \n
- Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation and safe working practices. \n
- Strong organisational and time management skills. \n
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities. \n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. \n
- Full UK driving licence. \n
For Electrical Candidates
\n- \n
- 18th Edition qualification. \n
- City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection qualification. \n
- Proven experience carrying out electrical repairs and installations in compliance with current regulations. \n
Desirable
\n- \n
- Current CSCS card. \n
- Experience working within social housing, housing associations, or residential maintenance contracts. \n
