Occupational Therapist – Mental Health Service

August Start | Full-Time / Part-Time Considered | Locum Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a specialist mental health service starting in August.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Occupational Therapist with experience in mental health settings to support service users with complex needs, working as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team within a specialist inpatient environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete occupational therapy assessments and develop personalised treatment plans.
\n
• Support service users to build independence, confidence, and meaningful daily routines.
\n
• Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions.
\n
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to support positive clinical outcomes.
\n
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to care planning.
\n

Requirements:

• HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist.
\n
• Previous experience working within mental health services.
\n
• Strong assessment and therapeutic skills.
\n
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
\n
