Business Development Manager Sector: HVAC / Built Environment Location: London Salary: £50,000£60,000 + £15k-£20k OTEAn opportunity to join a growing, innovation-led HVAC business developing patented, sustainable technology designed to significantly reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions across the built environment.With ambitious growth plans over the next five years, this role is central to building market presence, engaging key industry stakeholders, and driving early-stage project opportunities within commercial, residential and hotel sectors.The Role As Business Development Manager, youll lead proactive market engagement and pipeline generation across the built environment. Working closely with specification, sales and marketing teams, youll help position strong relationship driven efforts with MEP Contractors.This is a visible, outward-facing role suited to someone comfortable acting as a brand ambassador while also managing opportunities through the sales pipeline.Key Responsibilities Build and develop a strong network of key industry influencers and stakeholdersOrganise and lead meetings with architects, consultants, developers and other decision-makersRepresent the business at industry events, trade shows, lunch & learns and thought-leadership sessionsSupport marketing and communications through market insight and feedbackIdentify, qualify and manage projects through the sales pipelineProspect for new opportunities based on agreed project criteriaMaintain relationships post-installation to drive repeat business and showcase opportunitiesContribute to market research for new and emerging application areasAbout You Background in B2B business development within the built environmentIdeally 2+ years experience in technical HVAC sales or specification-led environmentsExperience selling high-specification or consultative engineered productsStrong understanding of commercial offices, residential and/or hotel marketsExisting relationships across architects, consultants, developers or contractorsPersonable, professional and credible when engaging senior stakeholdersOrganised, proactive and comfortable working in a growing, evolving businessConfident using CRM systems and Microsoft 365 toolsWhats on Offer Competitive base salary (£50k£60k)Pension contributionFlexible / hybrid working optionsSupportive, collaborative cultureOpportunity to grow with a business at an exciting stage of its journeyTPBN1_UKTJ
