This is a great opportunity to join a busy, growing workshop with a strong reputation for quality and service.The RoleAs a Workshop Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and overhaul of a wide range of industrial pumps and associated equipment . This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong mechanical knowledge and a keen eye for detail.Key ResponsibilitiesStrip, inspect, and rebuild a variety of industrial pumps (centrifugal, gear, etc.)Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficientlyReplace components such as bearings, seals, and shaftsCarry out pressure testing and performance checksRead and interpret engineering drawings and technical specificationsEnsure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safetyMaintain accurate service and inspection recordsRequirementsProven experience working with industrial pumps in a workshop environmentStrong mechanical engineering backgroundExperience with fault finding and equipment rebuildsAbility to read and understand engineering drawingsFamiliarity with rotating equipment (desirable)Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a teamWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary depending on experienceOvertime opportunities availableLong-term, stable employmentSupportive and well-equipped workshop environmentTPBN1_UKTJ
