Design Assistant

Designer Recruitment are seeking a Part-Time Design Assistant or Assistant Designer for a well-knownkitchen retailer in the West Midlands. Thisrole would suit a graduate designer with some good initial experience/exposure already obtained in the home/kitchen design retail market.This is a permanent position with ongoing training paying £27,000 - £29,000.Working schedule can be 3 or 4 days per week.Duties of theDesign Assistant:Usinginternal systems including CRM reporting tools efficiently (training will be provided)Supporting the Showroom Manager with ordering processes/liaising with their manufacturing facilityand completion of technical drawings for customer/client projectsLead taking, booking design appointments and presenting designs to clients/customersAdministration support for showroom lead marketing activitiesEngaging with walk-in customers and ensuring thecustomers receive the highest level of customer serviceAnswering the phone and dealing with daily enquiries and customer/client enquiries throughout a projectEnsuring the showroom is maintained to a high level of cleanlinessRequirement of the Design Assistant:Customer service experienceBasic knowledge of design using CAD softwareProactive with a desire to learn and develop in the roleStrong attention to detailAbility to prioritise work and manage multiple tasksGood communication and presentation skills and IT literateAbility to work as part of a team and independentlyPersonable, friendly and confident with a can do attitudeDriving Licence (preferred)What's on Offer:Salary: £27,000 - £29,000 pro rata to 3-4 daysCompany pension (after three months)Perkbox discount scheme for hundreds of high-street retailers25 days holiday a year plus bank holidays pro rata 3-4 daysFree hot drinksOpportunity for ongoing training and developmentAccess to wellbeing services and an Employee Assistance Programme which provides access to 24/7 counselling and support helplineDesigner Recruitment are acting as the employment agency in relation to this vacancy.TPBN1_UKTJ
