Specialising in soft separates & small amount soft tailoring. Jersey & Woven fabrics.Really lovely friendly company.Established/ Senior Garment Technologist - The RoleThis is a exciting role for a dynamic individual who would like to progress their career.Working very closely with the Design and Production team this position will involve:Working on design led womenswear collections multiproductWorking in a small team. Reporting to the Head garment technologist.Responsible for own accountsThere is no pattern cutting or amendments in this role. But you must have good understanding of pattern construction and balance.Develop garments with designers and customers from first fit to final sealerSet up workbooks for each development sample to be fitted.Attending fit meetings with the designer & customer, correctly processing all resulting information.Form good working relationships with customers. Fully understand customer fit notes and communicate/action with internal team. Measure samples to create, amend and update fully graded specs using customer workbooksPrepare production packs for factoryCreating production packs & all related paperwork, at all times adhering to critical path scheduleLiaison with factories via company production office & helping to improve factory standards which requires a solid understanding of factory production methodsManage approval process of all pre-production and bulk production, reporting to Technical Manager.Update planner and critical path for all tasks.Established/ Senior Garment - The CandidateMust have previous experience as a garment technician with a supplierStrong communication skills. Excellent written and verbal communication.Work well as part of a team and to the agreed critical paths.Good knowledge of garment fit construction and grading.Eye for detail and quality.Computer literate including Microsoft Office.Practical attention to detail, focussed and results oriented.Proactive, motivated and solution orientated.Thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.Excellent time management and ability to work calmly under pressure.Highly organised efficient and effective.TPBN1_UKTJ
