Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in the design, installation, commissioning, and ongoing support of electrical control systems across a variety of industrial applications.This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong electrical knowledge and hands-on experience in PLC programming, commissioning, and installation. The company is committed to investing in its people through ongoing training and development, providing opportunities to enhance your technical skills while working on a diverse range of projects.The role will suit an ambitious Electrical Engineer looking for a technically challenging position within a stable and forward-thinking organisation.Role DescriptionPLC programming, modification, and fault-finding on a range of control systemsElectrical installation and commissioning of industrial machinery and automated equipmentTesting and validation of electrical control panels and systemsDiagnosing and resolving electrical faults both on-site and remotelySupporting project delivery from design through to commissioningProducing and updating technical documentation where requiredWorking closely with customers and internal teams to ensure successful project completionReporting directly to the Engineering ManagerOccasional travel to customer sites for commissioning and support activitiesSkills & QualificationsPrevious experience as an Electrical Engineer, Controls Engineer, or Automation EngineerStrong PLC programming experience (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, or similar)Proven commissioning and electrical installation experienceAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawingsElectrical Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, NVQ, HNC/HND, or equivalent)Experience with industrial control panels and automation systemsStrong electrical fault-finding and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills and a customer-focused approachFull UK Driving Licence desirableThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company offering varied project work, technical development, and long-term career progression within the industrial automation and controls sector.TPBN1_UKTJ
