Facilities Engineer / General MaintenanceCentral London Full Time Flexible WorkingWere looking for a motivated, practically minded facilities engineer to join our facilities team supporting some of Londons busiest hospitality venues. If youre early in your career and want hands-on experience across a variety of real-world sites this role is for you.Youll be across central London venues working 40 hours per week predominantly mornings but flexible on days and timingsWhy This Role Works for YouBuild real commercial experience across multiple London hospitality sitesFlexible hoursDevelop skills beyond electrical, plumbing, HVAC support, compliance & moreCentral London locations well connected by tube and busSupportive Facilities Manager to guide your developmentWhat Youll Be DoingElectrical & General MaintenanceReplacing lamps, fittings, and minor electrical componentsFault-finding and first-line repairs across venuesCarrying out safe isolation and basic wiring tasks within your competencySupporting planned maintenance schedules alongside qualified contractorsCompliance & Safety (Full Training Provided)Weekly fire alarm testing and monthly emergency lighting checksMaintaining accurate compliance records and maintenance logsAssisting the Facilities Manager with health & safety tasksGeneral Site UpkeepBasic plumbing fixes leaks, taps, blockagesPainting, decorating, and general building upkeepFurniture repairs and minor installationsMonitoring plant rooms and flagging issues promptlyWhat Were Looking ForSome commercial or trade experience, even if early in your careerComfortable working independently across different sitesGood communication and a proactive attitudeAble to work flexible hoursHappy travelling across central London (driving licence is a bonus, not essential)Good to Have (Not Essential)Experience in hospitality, retail, or commercial buildings18th Edition certificate and formal electrical trade grounding (C&G 2365 / NVQ Level 2 minimum) paired with 12 years of hands-on site exposure.The DetailLocation: Central London (multi-site)Hours: Full time (40 hours)Type: PermanentThis role is not suitable for general DIY or domestic handyman work.
