Manufacturing Operative Location: Brixworth, NorthamptonshirePay Rate: £13.00 per hourHours: Monday to Friday | 8:30am 5:00pmJob Type: Full-Time | Temporary to PermanentManufacturing Operative Temp to Perm Opportunity Quest Employment is recruiting Manufacturing Operatives on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company based in Brixworth.This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business that offers full training, long-term career prospects, and the chance to secure a permanent position. You'll be working within a specialist manufacturing environment where quality, accuracy, and attention to detail are essential.Please note: This role starts on a day shift (8:30am 5:00pm, Monday to Friday). Successful candidates must be fully flexible and willing to move onto a permanent shift pattern after transferring to a permanent contract, in line with business requirements.Permanent Shift Patterns Monday to Friday | 6:00am 2:00pmMonday to Friday | 2:00pm 10:00pmSunday to Thursday | 10:00pm 6:00am30-minute unpaid break per shift.Enhanced pay rates apply once you transfer to a permanent contract.The Role As a Manufacturing Operative, you will play a key role in the production process by accurately weighing, measuring, and blending liquid and powdered materials using detailed manufacturing instructions.Your responsibilities will include:Accurately weighing and measuring raw materials.Mixing liquid and powdered products following production instructions.Completing production paperwork and batch records accurately.Handling raw materials safely and efficiently.Manual handling, including lifting heavier containers and materials.Maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and housekeeping.Working in line with Health & Safety procedures at all times.Wearing the required PPE provided by the company.About You We're looking for reliable, motivated individuals who take pride in producing quality work.You'll ideally have:Excellent attention to detail.Confidence working with numbers and production documentation.Good communication skills.A positive attitude and willingness to learn.The ability to carry out manual handling duties safely.Flexibility to work all future shift patterns.Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment (preferred).Experience within a COSHH-controlled or chemical manufacturing environment (desirable).A full UK driving licence and your own transport due to the location of the site.What We Offer Temporary to Permanent opportunity.Full training provided.All PPE supplied.Competitive pay with enhanced rates after permanent transfer.Long-term career progression.Supportive and friendly working environment.Opportunity to develop new skills within a specialist manufacturing business.If you're looking for a long-term opportunity with a company that values quality, precision, and commitment, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today with Quest Employment and take the next step in your manufacturing career!TPBN1_UKTJ
