About the Role

We are currently looking for an experienced and safety-conscious Side loader Driver to join our busy timber yard team in Humbie. This is a hands-on role involving the movement and handling of timber products, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the yard and ensuring customer orders are fulfilled safely and efficiently.

What Youll Be Doing

• Operating a sideloader forklift to move and store timber and wood products
\n
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
\n
• Picking and preparing customer orders accurately
\n
• Handling long, heavy, and awkward loads with care
\n
• Carrying out daily equipment checks and reporting any faults
\n
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
\n
• Supporting stock control and general yard operations
\n

What Were Looking For

\n
• Valid sideloader forklift licence (preferred)
\n
• Previous experience in a timber yard, builders merchant, or similar environment (preferred)
\n
• Confident handling of long or bulky materials
\n
• Strong awareness of health & safety procedures
\n
• Reliable, hardworking, and a good team player
\n
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
\n

Working Hours

\n
• Rotating shifts:
\n
• Day Shift: 6:00am 2:00pm
\n
• Back Shift: 2:30pm 11:30pm
\n
• Overtime may be available during busy periods
\n
