As a Carpentry Lecturer at Kidderminster College, you will:

• Deliver engaging and practical lessons across Site Carpentry programmes from Level 1 to Level 3,
\n
• Plan and prepare learning activities that meet curriculum and awarding body requirements,
\n
• Support learners in developing their practical carpentry skills, technical knowledge, and industry awareness,
\n
• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement,
\n
• Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment within workshop and classroom settings,
\n
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure learners achieve successful outcomes.
\n

\n
• A relevant Carpentry qualification at Level 3 or above,
\n
• Industry experience within Site Carpentry or a related construction trade,
\n
• Knowledge of City & Guilds qualifications and assessment requirements is desirable,
\n
• Strong communication and organisational skills,
\n
• A passion for supporting and developing learners,
\n
• A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is desirable, along with a valid or update-service DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
