Job Description

Senior / Associate Building Surveyor - Manchester

\n

£55,000 to £75,000 + Bonus + Benefits

\n

\n

I’m working on a confidential instruction with a growing multi disciplinary consultancy in Manchester looking to appoint a Chartered Senior or Associate Building Surveyor.

\n

This is a key hire into an established but expanding office, with a strong pipeline of work and clear growth plans.

\n

The role offers a broad mix of project and professional work, currently including:

\n
    \n
  • Facade remediation projects
  • \n
  • Fire related instructions
  • \n
  • Defect diagnosis
  • \n
  • Condition surveys
  • \n
  • Wider commercial and residential Building Surveying work
  • \n
\n

\n

You would be joining a collaborative team and stepping into a position where you can:

\n
    \n
  • Take ownership of projects
  • \n
  • Support and mentor junior surveyors
  • \n
  • Play a visible role in the growth of the Manchester office
  • \n
\n

\n

The business itself has built a strong reputation across the built environment, particularly within complex and high risk buildings, and offers a genuinely supportive and progressive culture.

\n

It’s less corporate than some of the larger consultancies, with a focus on:

\n
    \n
  • Trust and autonomy
  • \n
  • Recognising contribution
  • \n
  • Long term career development
  • \n
\n

\n

What they’re looking for:

\n
    \n
  • MRICS qualified Building Surveyor
  • \n
  • Strong technical and client facing capability
  • \n
  • Someone who wants to be part of a growing team rather than just sit within one
  • \n
\n

\n

Package:

\n
    \n
  • £55,000 to £75,000 depending on level
  • \n
  • Bonus
  • \n
  • Private healthcare
  • \n
  • Pension
  • \n
  • Gym membership
  • \n
  • Strong CPD and progression support
  • \n
\n
