Job Types: Full-Time, Permanent

Pay: £34,000 per annum

Location: Welham Green, AL9

Due to growth, we are looking to add a colleague to the Warehouse team at an established independent Builders merchant. We are currently looking for experienced Forklift Drivers to assist in the day-to-day operations of a busy yard / warehouse environment.

Job Specification:

• Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries using a forklift truck, picking orders, and moving stock around the site.
\n
• Picking orders accurately and in a timely manner.
\n
• Checking loaded goods against delivery notes.
\n
• Assisting Trade Counter customers as required.
\n
• Keeping work areas clean and tidy.
\n
• Some manual handling is required.
\n
• Adhering to Health and Safety regulations at all times.
\n
• Shift pattern is 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays, 7am to 1pm.
\n

Person Specification:

\n
• Builders merchant experience preferred – training will be given.
\n
• Be self-motivated and be able to work as part of a team.
\n
• Have the ability to work quickly and efficiently with strong attention to detail.
\n
• Be able to follow Health and Safety regulations.
\n
• Good communication and customer service skills.
\n

Experience:
