\nSalary: Up to £33,000 depending on experience, plus commission
The Company\nOur client is a growing freight forwarding business focused on delivering reliable logistics solutions through strong communication, control and customer service. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Sales Administrator to support their expanding commercial function.
The Role\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced freight forwarding professional looking to develop their career within a Sales and Business Development environment.
\nWorking closely with the Business Development team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, engaging with prospective customers, arranging appointments and supporting the wider commercial function.
\nThe ideal candidate will have previous experience within freight forwarding operations, telesales, sales support or a customer-facing role, with the confidence to build relationships and communicate effectively with prospective clients.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct outbound telephone prospecting to potential customers. \n
- Generate qualified sales opportunities for the Business Development team. \n
- Arrange appointments and manage diaries for Business Development Managers. \n
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers. \n
- Maintain accurate customer records and update CRM systems. \n
- Follow up on marketing campaigns, enquiries and sales leads. \n
- Develop a strong understanding of the company's freight forwarding services and communicate these confidently. \n
- Work towards agreed activity and appointment targets. \n
- Maintain professional communication with customers and prospects. \n
- Work collaboratively with the Sales and Commercial teams to maximise opportunities. \n

- Minimum of 1 year's experience within freight forwarding operations, telesales, telemarketing or sales support. \n
- Confident and professional telephone manner. \n
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills. \n
- Excellent organisation and time management abilities. \n
- Good attention to detail with accurate record keeping skills. \n
- Positive and proactive approach. \n
- Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems. \n
- Full right to work in the UK. \n

- Salary up to £33,000 depending on experience, plus commission. \n
- Hybrid working available following successful completion of probation. \n
- 25 days holiday (pro rata). \n
