Salary: £70,000 – £90,000 DOE | Location: Southwest London (In Office) | Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–6:00pm or 9:00am–6:30pm | Onsite Parking

A financially stable and growing company are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join a successful and expanding business based in Southwest London. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to take ownership of the finance function within a dynamic organisation that continues to expand.

Working closely with the senior leadership team, you'll play a key role in maintaining strong financial controls, supporting commercial decision-making, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the finance department. The Role

As Financial Controller, you will oversee the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient financial processes across the business. This is a varied position suited to someone who enjoys both hands-on accounting and contributing to wider business performance.

Key Responsibilities of the Financial Controller:

  • Oversee the day-to-day finance function, including purchase ledger, payments and reconciliations.
  • \n
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for senior management.
  • \n
  • Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and financial planning.
  • \n
  • Manage VAT returns and ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
  • \n
  • Liaise with external accountants, auditors and other professional advisers.
  • \n
  • Review and improve financial processes and internal controls to support business growth.
  • \n

About You:

    \n
  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
  • \n
  • Previous experience in a Financial Controller or similar senior finance position.
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting and cash flow management.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business.
  • \n
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • \n
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence using accounting software. Experience with QuickBooks is advantageous but not essential.
  • \n
  • Able to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • \n
