Project lengths and locations will vary, with both short-term assignments and longer contracts available.Typical duties: Installing Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6a cablingCable pulling, dressing and containmentTerminating outlets and patch panelsTesting, labelling and fault-findingCabinet installations and patchingInstalling wireless access pointsCopper and fibre installationCompleting site documentationRequirements: Previous structured cabling experienceCSCS or ECS cardOwn tools and PPEGood termination and testing skillsReliable and professional on customer sitesFull UK driving licence and own transport preferredAdditional qualifications such as IPAF, PASMA, DBS or fibre-splicing experience would be beneficialRates will depend on the project, location and level of experience.If you are a data cabling engineer or subcontractor looking for work across the North East, apply through Totaljobs with your CV and details of your availability.TPBN1_UKTJ
