\n Pertemps Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join their team on a straight permanent basis in Aston, Birmingham.\n

The Role\n

\n

\n
• Multi-drop deliveries of building materials throughout the Greater Midlands area
  
  
\n
• No handball – forklift loading and unloading at delivery points
  
  
\n
• Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:00
  
  
\n
• 37.5-hour working week
  
  
\n
• Time Off In Lieu (TOIL) provided for hours worked over 40 per week
  
  
\n
• Permanent position from day one
  
  
\n

Essential Requirements\n
\n
\n

\n
• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
  
  
\n
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  
  
\n
• A minimum of 5 years' Class 2 driving experience is ESSENTIAL
  
  
\n
• Excellent knowledge of drivers' hours and road transport legislation
  
  
\n
• Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude
  
  
\n

Desirable\n

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
