Salary: Up to £35,000Location: Chelmsford, EssexJob Type: Full-time, office-based

Working Hours:Monday - Friday, 8:15am - 5:00pm

Role Overview

\n

As a Senior Administrator you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative, reception, and contract support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office and project operations. This role supports internal teams, site operations, and management while maintaining high standards of organisation, compliance, and communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and manage incoming calls professionally
  • \n
  • Greet and assist visitors
  • \n
  • Prepare refreshments for meetings, including senior management and external stakeholders
  • \n
  • Book meeting rooms and coordinate meeting logistics
  • \n
  • Conduct routine office health & safety checks, including fire alarms and safety equipment
  • \n
  • Set up new projects on internal systems
  • \n
  • Prepare site documentation including H&S packs, folders, and site materials
  • \n
  • Manage and monitor project email inboxes
  • \n
  • Upload and file project documentation within systems
  • \n
  • Oversee drawing management (electronic and hard copies)
  • \n
  • Maintain and update document registers
  • \n
  • Issue weekly attestations communications
  • \n
  • Support pre-contract and end-of-contract review administration
  • \n
  • Visit sites when required to provide administrative support
  • \n
  • Archive project documentation and manage site returns
  • \n
  • Procure general office and project maintenance supplies
  • \n
  • Maintain H&S noticeboards
  • \n
  • Manage office supply ordering
  • \n
  • Process office-related purchases
  • \n
  • Upload and maintain building maintenance compliance documentation
  • \n
  • Oversee office equipment maintenance and servicing
  • \n
