Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Accountant to lead the development, optimisation, and governance of a finance systems environment centred around NetSuite Financials and associated reporting tools.

\nReporting to the Head of Finance, you will:

- Lead the day-to-day administration, development, and optimisation of NetSuite Financials. \n
- Act as the organisation's finance systems subject matter expert. \n
- Drive finance systems improvements, automation, and digital transformation initiatives. \n
- Lead systems projects from concept through to successful implementation. \n
- Develop and maintain financial reporting, dashboards, and management information. \n
- Ensure robust governance, financial controls, and data integrity across finance systems. \n
- Monitor integrations and troubleshoot system issues. \n
- Deliver training, guidance, and support to users across the organisation. \n
- Supervise and develop a junior member of the finance team. \n
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, operational teams, and external software providers to deliver continuous improvement. \n
Profile
\n- \n
- Significant experience in a Systems Accountant or Finance Systems role. \n
- Strong expertise in NetSuite or another ERP finance system. \n
- Proven experience delivering finance systems enhancements and transformation projects. \n
- Strong understanding of financial accounting, management accounting, and financial controls. \n
- Experience improving processes, reporting, and system functionality. \n
- Ideally experience within the charity, public sector, housing, healthcare, or not-for-profit sectors. \n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. \n
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities. \n
- The confidence to influence and engage with both finance and non-finance colleagues. \n
- A proactive approach to identifying and implementing improvements. \n
- Strong project management and organisational skills. \n
- A collaborative leadership style with experience supporting and developing others. \n
Job Offer

- Salary ranging from £65,000 to £75,000, dependent on the level of experience. \n
- Pension scheme included. \n
- 12 month Fixed-term contract opportunity in Birmingham. \n
