Supply Chain Administrator - Temporary 8-Week AssignmentDoncaster (DN11) - £14-£15 per hour | Full-Time

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be supporting a growing manufacturing and supply chain business in Doncaster as they look to recruit a Supply Chain Administrator on an 8-week temporary basis to provide cover within their Supply Chain team.

\n

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous administration, supply chain, procurement, logistics or customer service experience who is looking to further develop their career within a busy and fast-paced supply chain environment.

\n

Working closely with the Supply Chain Manager and wider team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth administration of procurement, inventory and order management processes.

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

As Supply Chain Administrator your duties will include:

\n
    \n
  • Raising, managing and tracking purchase requisitions and purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate processing
  • \n
  • Processing goods receipts, order completions and inventory transactions within the ERP/MRP system
  • \n
  • Monitoring supplier order confirmations and delivery schedules
  • \n
  • Communicating with suppliers, freight providers and internal stakeholders regarding order status and supply updates
  • \n
  • Reconciling supplier invoices, investigating discrepancies and supporting timely payment processing
  • \n
  • Supporting the administration of customer, production and replenishment orders within the ERP/MRP system
  • \n
  • Maintaining accurate master data records
  • \n
  • Producing and distributing routine supply chain reports, tracking key metrics and highlighting exceptions
  • \n
  • Maintaining supply chain documentation and records
  • \n
  • Collaborating with Planning, Production, Customer Service, Logistics and Finance teams to resolve issues and support day-to-day operations
  • \n

About You

\n

We are keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:

\n
    \n
  • Previous experience within a supply chain, procurement, planning, customer service, logistics, warehouse support or administrative role
  • \n
  • Experience using ERP/MRP systems, or the ability to quickly learn new business systems
  • \n
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • \n
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • \n
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • \n
  • Confidence handling business-critical data and documentation where precision is essential
  • \n
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • \n
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and Teams
  • \n

  • Competitive hourly rate of £14-£15 per hour

  • Standard working hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
