\n

Competitive salary circa £70,000, with flexibility for an exceptional candidate, plus bonus and benefits package.

\n

Are you an experienced HR Business Partner looking for a broad, commercially focused role within a growing international business?

\n

Our client is a privately owned international business with circa 250 employees worldwide. Operating across multiple countries, the organisation provides specialist commercial services within the global maritime industry. Combining the agility of a medium-sized business with a genuinely international footprint, it offers employees the opportunity to influence decisions, work closely with senior leaders and make a tangible impact.

\n

As part of its continued growth, the business is seeking an HR Business Partner to work closely with the Global HR Director, supporting both strategic people initiatives and day-to-day HR operations across the organisation.

\n

This is an excellent opportunity to become the second most senior HR professional within the business, offering genuine influence, broad exposure and the chance to help shape an evolving People function.

\n

The Role

\n

This is a true HR Business Partner position where no two days are the same.

\n

You'll partner with leaders across the business, providing commercially focused HR support across the full employee lifecycle. Responsibilities will include employee relations, performance management, organisational change, talent development, coaching managers and supporting business growth.

\n

Alongside business partnering, you'll contribute to a range of strategic HR projects including reward and benefits, HR systems, policy development, organisational design, governance and continuous improvement initiatives.

\n

This role offers an excellent blend of strategic involvement and operational delivery, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and wants to make a visible impact.

\n

About You

\n

We're looking for an experienced HR Business Partner or HR Manager who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

\n

You'll be commercially minded, pragmatic and confident building relationships with senior stakeholders. Equally, you'll be happy rolling your sleeves up and supporting the operational aspects of HR when required.

\n

You'll ideally have:

\n
    \n
  • Previous experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Manager.
  • \n
  • Strong generalist HR knowledge across the full employee lifecycle.
  • \n
  • Excellent employee relations experience.
  • \n
  • Experience partnering with senior managers and business leaders.
  • \n
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • \n
  • Experience of HR systems and process improvement.
  • \n
  • A proactive, hands-on and solutions-focused approach.
  • \n
  • Previous experience working within an international organisation would be advantageous, although this is not essential.
  • \n
  • Previous experience working within a regulated environment (or a good understanding of the challenges associated with regulated businesses) would be a distinct advantage, although this is not essential.
  • \n
  • Experience gained within the maritime, logistics, transportation, commodities or other internationally focused commercial sectors would be advantageous, although this is by no means essential.
  • \n
\n

Why Join?

\n

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a growing international business where you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact.

\n

You'll work directly alongside an experienced Global HR Director, acting as the second most senior HR professional within the organisation and partnering with leaders across multiple countries.

\n

In return, you'll receive a competitive salary circa £70,000, with flexibility for an exceptional candidate, plus:

\n
    \n
  • Performance-related bonus.
  • \n
  • Hybrid working.
  • \n
  • Private medical insurance.
  • \n
  • Life assurance.
  • \n
  • Pension.
  • \n
  • A broad international HR remit with exposure to senior stakeholders.
  • \n
  • The opportunity to help shape and develop an evolving global People function.
  • \n
  • Genuine autonomy, variety and the chance to influence strategic people initiatives across the business.
  • \n
\n

If you're looking for a role where you can combine strategic HR with hands-on business partnering in an international environment, we'd love to hear from you.
