Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active VA SLP licensure
- Previous experience in a school-based SLP role preferred
- Strong proficiency with hybrid and virtual service delivery
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Commitment to timely completion of credentialing requirements (VA Dept. of Social Services check and TB Test)
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy and related services to a diverse caseload of students across varying ages
- Split schedule: Deliver in-person therapy at school sites three days per week and conduct virtual sessions and meetings remotely for two days
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement IEP goals tailored to each student’s needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, progress, and outcomes
- Participate in team meetings, evaluations, and ongoing professional development
- Flexibly adjust to assigned schools and caseloads as determined by district needs
