Desired Skills & Experience:
- Valid license or eligible for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Florida
- CCC credential or current CFY status
- Experience or strong interest in working within school environments, particularly with high school students
- Ability to develop creative therapy activities and individualized treatment plans
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with students, parents, and interdisciplinary staff
- Organizational skills to manage caseloads and effectively document progress
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in a high school caseload
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans that support students’ academic and social success
- Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to deliver well-rounded support
- Track student progress, maintain detailed records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student participation and growth
