This contract position offers an engaging opportunity to collaborate with educators and support a diverse K-12 population, working onsite three days per week.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Oregon (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication skills to partner effectively with teachers, families, and support staff
- Ability to adapt interventions to individual student needs across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive environment for all students
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ functional abilities and develop individualized intervention plans
- Deliver direct OT services onsite, supporting students in achieving academic and social participation goals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to adapt classroom activities and environments
- Maintain thorough documentation in line with district and state guidelines
- Educate staff and families on strategies that promote students’ independence and participation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support planning
