Occupational Therapist School Setting - Gresham, OR

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Oregon (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience working in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
• Strong communication skills to partner effectively with teachers, families, and support staff
• Ability to adapt interventions to individual student needs across elementary, middle, and high school levels
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive environment for all students

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ functional abilities and develop individualized intervention plans
• Deliver direct OT services onsite, supporting students in achieving academic and social participation goals
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to adapt classroom activities and environments
• Maintain thorough documentation in line with district and state guidelines
• Educate staff and families on strategies that promote students’ independence and participation
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support planning
