Job Summary
A well-established law firm in Miami is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant | Litigation to support its Litigation Practice Group. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented legal support professional with strong defense litigation experience, excellent court filing knowledge, and the ability to support multiple attorneys in a fast-paced law firm environment.
This role offers the opportunity to join a stable, professional legal team with strong internal collaboration, supportive leadership, and a high standard of client service. The Legal Assistant will play an important role in keeping litigation matters organized, deadlines on track, and attorney workflows running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and legal support to multiple attorneys within the Litigation Practice Group.
- Assist with case openings, conflict checks, records management, and general litigation support functions.
- Manage attorney calendars, including hearings, appointments, meetings, and litigation deadlines.
- Draft, edit, proofread, and format correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents.
- Maintain electronic and paper case files while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and organization.
- Support client billing, expense tracking, invoice delivery, reimbursements, and payment processing.
Compensation and Benefits
- Direct hire position.
- Salary range: $70,000 to $80,000 per year.
- Location: Miami, FL 33131.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, in-office.
- No remote work available.
