Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a clinical pharmacist to support hospital pharmacy operations in the Mendocino, CA area. The assignment is a 13-week contract with day shift hours, offering a structured 4x10 workweek schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure safe and efficient workflow
- Provide clinical consultations and collaborate with nurses and physicians
- Utilize pharmacy information systems such as Cerner and Omnicell
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Current California pharmacist license required
- Prior hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred
- Available for full-time commitment throughout the assignment
- Comfortable working within clinical hospital pharmacy settings
Schedule:
- Monday through Thursday, 10-hour day shifts
