This contract role spans the academic year from late August 2026 through May 2027. Working onsite, you’ll collaborate with a team of professionals dedicated to helping children thrive.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid SLP license for schools and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric speech-language pathology
- Strong understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and compliance
- Excellent organizational and communication skills to handle both caseload and case management responsibilities
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students
- Assume case management for 21 students, ensuring all documentation and compliance are met
- Serve as the primary service provider for a total caseload of 76 students, with support from an onsite SLP-A several days each week
- Collaborate with an in-house supervising SLP for coordinated support of SLP-A responsibilities
- Engage with teachers, families, and support staff to create positive learning outcomes
- Attend IEP meetings, contribute to planning, and maintain detailed records
