Desired Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat varied speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Proficiency developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and progress monitoring
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Flexibility to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to changing academic needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat students with communication disorders in accordance with their IEP goals
- Document and report student progress, maintaining all required records accurately and timely
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions designed to maximize student success
- Implement evidence-based practices and individualized interventions
- Provide guidance and resources to staff and families to support students’ communication growth in the classroom
