Desired Qualifications:

  • Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Previous experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat varied speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Proficiency developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and progress monitoring
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Flexibility to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to changing academic needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat students with communication disorders in accordance with their IEP goals
  • Document and report student progress, maintaining all required records accurately and timely
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members
  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions designed to maximize student success
  • Implement evidence-based practices and individualized interventions
  • Provide guidance and resources to staff and families to support students’ communication growth in the classroom
