Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting, preferably working with PreK-3rd grade students
- Ability to conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and track progress
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload of PreK–3rd grade students
- Conduct evaluations, re-evaluations, and screenings as needed for speech and language concerns
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to address student needs and implement strategies
- Write and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs); document student progress in accordance with school and legal standards
- Offer consultation and support for teachers to integrate communication techniques within the classroom
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights regarding student development
