Work collaboratively with fellow Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to deliver high-quality services to K-12 students. Qualifications:
- Current Washington Occupational Therapist license
- Active ESA Certificate required
- Strong understanding of school-based OT practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Prior experience with K-12 student populations preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy to a carefully managed caseload of 50+ students, with cases thoughtfully divided among team members to ensure manageable travel between school sites
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to craft and implement individualized treatment plans
- Document progress, maintain student records, and contribute to IEP processes
- Support students’ motor, sensory, and functional skills in both classroom and individual settings
- Stay current with best practices and relevant state and federal regulations for school-based therapy
