Tax Senior

Position Overview

A well-established accounting and advisory firm is seeking an experienced tax professional to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with strong technical tax knowledge and experience managing multiple priorities in a client-service environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review a variety of federal and state tax filings for business entities, trusts, and individual taxpayers.
• Assist clients with tax compliance matters, planning initiatives, and reporting requirements.
• Research tax regulations and provide recommendations on technical tax issues.
• Respond to client inquiries and assist with correspondence related to taxing authorities.
• Support accounting and financial reporting functions for assigned client engagements.
• Collaborate with team members on special projects, process improvements, and advisory initiatives.
• Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and high-quality service.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Progress toward CPA certification strongly preferred.
• Approximately 3-5 years of recent tax experience within a public accounting environment.
• Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with accounting, tax preparation, and Microsoft Office applications.
