Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct dental care and related services to patients under the general supervision of a dentist.
• Deliver compassionate and high-quality care to every patient.
• Perform direct patient care tasks, including scaling, prophylaxis, x-rays, sealant and fluoride applications, and other related procedures.
• Enhance customer service by identifying opportunities for Same Day Care.
• Educate patients and their families on proper oral hygiene practices.
• Evaluate patients' dental conditions and review their medical histories.
• Ensure compliance with all government regulations and organizational standards.
• Guide patients and their families through the treatment process.
• Assist with dental and periodontal charting as needed.
• Take x-rays and ensure they are properly saved in patient records when necessary.
• Provide memorable experiences for patients by demonstrating compassion and understanding.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in good standing.
• CPR certification (BLS) from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, including a hands-on skills assessment (required upon hire).
