Ideal candidates will have expertise in regional anesthesia and obstetric anesthesia. The range of procedures we handle includes general surgery, urology, retina, gynecology, vascular, orthopedics, podiatry, dental, ENT, endoscopy, thoracic, and occasional pediatric cases. Our facility features 9 operating rooms and manages 1-3 endoscopy rooms daily, supports the catheterization lab as needed, and oversees the Burdett Care Center, our labor and delivery unit. We foster a collaborative environment with surgeons and primarily operate under an Anesthesia Care Team model. Recently, our hospital was honored as one of 'Forbes Top Hospitals 2026,' ranking among only 15 in New York State.

Troy, NY, is conveniently located just a short drive north of Albany, the state capital. The area is also close to Saratoga, the Adirondacks, and the Berkshires, offering endless outdoor activities throughout the year. Additionally, we are within a 2-3 hour drive from the Finger Lakes region, New York City, and Boston. The Capital Region is known for its excellent public school system and a variety of private schooling options. Albany International Airport is easily accessible for travel.

We provide a competitive compensation package that includes:

  • Annual salary of $600,000
  • On-call ratio of 1:8, with optional extra shifts available for additional pay
  • Day off following on-call duty
