Job Description
Discover an exciting contract opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours each week. This role supports elementary, secondary, and private school students in a collaborative environment near Denison, TX. You'll join a dynamic team, working alongside another SLP and two SLPAs to provide comprehensive speech-language services. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active or eligible Speech-Language Pathology license for the state of Texas
- Certification as SLP-CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) accepted
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with fellow SLPs, SLPAs, teachers, and school staff
Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, intervention, and consultation services to students across various grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Work closely with a supportive team, dividing caseload with another SLP and two SLPAs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress monitoring and documentation
- Offer consultation and support to teachers and families to promote student success
