Job Description
Our organization, a prominent health system in the Delaware Valley, is excited to present a full-time position for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist. This role is based at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby, Pennsylvania, and is part of our employed medical group.
The chosen candidate will become a member of an established team consisting of three gastroenterologists and three physician assistants. Key features of this position include a hospital consult service and designated procedure days, with additional services offered at various satellite locations throughout the region. There are also opportunities for involvement in teaching and research initiatives.
This outpatient practice operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with shared responsibilities for practice and emergency department call coverage.
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria: possess an MD or DO from an accredited institution, have completed a certified residency program, be Board Certified or Board Eligible, and hold a valid license to practice in Pennsylvania. Experience in advanced endoscopic interventional procedures and a background in establishing a GERD clinic are highly desirable.
