Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting high school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time assignment. This role covers a leave of absence from August 10 through September 22 and offers the chance to make a genuine impact during a critical period in the academic year. What we’re looking for:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP licensure (CCC or eligible Clinical Fellowship Year – CFY)
- Experience working in a healthcare, school, or pediatric setting preferred
- Familiarity with high school caseloads and the needs of adolescent students
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Comfortable working onsite throughout the contract
Your contributions will include:
- Providing direct speech-language therapy services to high school students onsite
- Conducting screenings, assessments, and progress evaluations
- Collaborating with teachers and school teams to support student goals
- Developing clear, actionable IEP objectives and progress tracking
- Offering guidance and education to students and families regarding speech/language goals
- Maintaining accurate, timely documentation in compliance with school and federal standards
