School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Jersey City, New Jersey

The caseload consists of approximately 60–65 students, distributed thoughtfully among the schools, and is ready for immediate placement.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active New Jersey SLP license is required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Experience working with K–12th grade students preferred
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
• Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to individual student needs
• Maintain thorough records and progress notes in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, parents, and other specialists
• Support students in developing functional communication skills that enhance their educational experience
