Key Qualifications:

  • Active Rhode Island SLP licensure required
  • CCC-SLP highly desired; CFY applicants warmly considered
  • Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based speech therapy settings
  • Knowledge of providing services across the K-12 spectrum
  • Familiarity with clinical documentation and student goal planning
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and support staff

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver both direct and consultative therapy for a diverse K-12 caseload
  • Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in accordance with school and federal guidelines
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and progress reviews
  • Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions and adjust strategies as needed for best student outcomes
  • Educate and support families and school personnel regarding speech-language development and interventions
