Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Active California State licensure to practice as an SLP
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completed
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families
  • Experience (or strong interest) in providing individualized speech-language services within a school environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify student needs and inform individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver targeted 1:1 and small group speech-language therapy interventions to help students access the curriculum and meet communication goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to develop effective support strategies
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation, track student progress, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Adapt therapy techniques to suit diverse student populations and varying needs
