Job Description

An exciting contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist with a strong background in school-based settings. The position is full-time, with the flexibility to work either virtually or onsite, serving a diverse caseload of about 50 students, including those in resource settings and the RISE program for moderate disabilities.
Key Qualifications:
- Washington SLP License and Educational Staff Associate (ESA) credential required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in elementary school settings, supporting students with a variety of speech and language needs
- Background working with moderate disabilities or specialized populations preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Tech proficiency for virtual service delivery, if choosing remote work
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy for students in elementary grades, both in resource classrooms and the specialized RISE program
- Develop and implement IEP goals, track student progress, and maintain thorough documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster an inclusive and effective learning environment
- Conduct assessments, participate in multidisciplinary meetings, and contribute professional insights for student support plans
- Adapt interventions for students with diverse abilities and backgrounds
