Step into an impactful role supporting elementary students during a key period of maternity leave this school year. An exciting contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist with a strong background in school-based settings. The position is full-time, with the flexibility to work either virtually or onsite, serving a diverse caseload of about 50 students, including those in resource settings and the RISE program for moderate disabilities.

Key Qualifications:

  • Washington SLP License and Educational Staff Associate (ESA) credential required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience in elementary school settings, supporting students with a variety of speech and language needs
  • Background working with moderate disabilities or specialized populations preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Tech proficiency for virtual service delivery, if choosing remote work

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy for students in elementary grades, both in resource classrooms and the specialized RISE program
  • Develop and implement IEP goals, track student progress, and maintain thorough documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster an inclusive and effective learning environment
  • Conduct assessments, participate in multidisciplinary meetings, and contribute professional insights for student support plans
  • Adapt interventions for students with diverse abilities and backgrounds
